Photography Lessons
For the first time last month I had the opportunity to be the photographer in a wedding, and not the director. Yes, relinquishing the reins of directing was a very hard task, however, I enjoyed the opportunity to capture moments through the camera. Thankfully, the bride and groom were very easy going, so I could try some things that I probably wouldn't have had the nerve to try had it been a different setting, but we had a fantastic time. However, the number 1 lesson that was cemented in my brain was the fact that there needs to be 2 photographers. The reason for this is simply there are so many moments to capture, that you want there to be two "someone's" at all times to get the moments that you will look back on and smile about!

A Beginning Process
So I am beginning the journey of trying to start my own wedding and special event planning business, but not only will I be learning the ropes of a business, I will be learning the ropes of this technologically advanced age. My goal is to learn how to blog consistently and upload pictures on a regular basis, so please bear with me as I am learning this new, but much needed, skill.
